-EPL interface card for PCI bus systems

The EPL interface card enables the connection of host systems to EPL systems via the PCI bus. The EPL functionality runs completely on the CPU system of the EPL interface card. Depending on the performance required, the EPL interface card can work with one or two EPL systems in each case independently as a managing node and controlled mode. In the MN and in the CN mode, it has repid response times (<2us) and a very low SoC-jitter. Data are transmitted between the host system and the EPL interface card by DMA via the PCI bus. As regards process data, the EPL interface card is also able to process large quantities of data from systems with more than 100 CNs. The scope of supply includes a driver for Windows 2000/XP and an API. Adaptation to other operating systems (e.g. VxWorks) is possible and can be carried out by IXXAT.

  • PCI bus interface in accordance with specification 2.2 (32-bit/33MHz, 5 or 3.3 Volt)
