SBC Module Description

The phyCORE-167/ST10 HS/E (High-Speed Ethernet) supports various 144-pin devices in QFP package from Infineon and STMicroelectronics. The module offers up to 1MB external SRAM with 15ns access time, 2MB external Flash and supports on-board in-system Flash programming(ISP). If populated with the C167CS or the ST10F269, the module offers an dual Full 2.0B CAN. If populated with the ST10F269, the module offers an additional 256KB on-chip Flash. Both devices provide 111 I/O lines and a supplemental UART for a second serial (modem-capable) interface. The Cirrus Logic CS8900A controller enables Ehternet communication with a transmission rate of 10 Mbit/s. The minimal form factor and enhanced EMI characteristics of the phyCORE render the module an excellent subassembly to drive networked OEM applications.

Phytec Development Boards are fully equipped with all mechanical and electrical components necessary for the speedy and secure start-up and programming of Phytec Single Board Computer modules:

  • Development Board in EURO-card dimensions (100 x 160 mm)
  • 2x DB-9 sockets for RS-232 interfaces
  • 2x DB-9 plugs for CAN interfaces
  • 2x opto-decoupled CAN transceivers
  • address, data, interfaces and all applicable I/O signals route from module to dual 160-pin Expansion Bus, enabling connectivity to Add-on hardware
